I get a call last week that poster TheKeyman was in hospital getting Coronary Stents put in as his health was up and down recently and more time would be needed to get plays in. Despite the health concerns in recent time and stents being put in with success he was able to get me the plays for the last week of the contest so I could get them in within a reasonable time period.

Although he does not always play well with others face)(*^% I wanted to congratulate him on impressive showings in different College Contests in recent years winning the College Contest here a couple years ago, getting 2nd this year in the William Hill College Challenge Contest in addition to other respectable placings. Congratulations on your college handicapping success Mark :103631605 and hope your health goes in the right direction in the near future.

Hey Sharky thanks for the kind words as I appreciate it.It has been a very taxing year for me and I just hope and pray that everything works out for me.Placing second in the William Hill college football contest is a big thrill for me as I had to deal with some of the best handicappers around. It takes a lot of time weekly to come up with what you hope are the right plays for that weekend. I would like to thank you for taking the time to get my plays in every week so this can happen, you by far are the best proxy someone can have, being reliable and trustworthy which means a lot as you have a life of your own to and still make sure that you find time to go out and put our plays in.

So Sharky i would like to say that it’s a honor to have you as a great friend and i can’t thank you enough for all that you have done for me in the past and the present.....You’re the best pal

This is very good news for Key and the RX as a whole. But the best news, besides his finish in the contest, is the news you are feeling much better. In fact, great news.

On a side bar, I think I may look into a few of these other contests in Vegas next year. I'm sure they're not all $ 1,500 to enter, and they may have fewer entries which gives somebody a better chance to win something

I use to do it when it was the Leroy's, which I think was better than the current William Hill. It was a $200 or $250 entry ?? and you had no way near what you have today in the Westgate.

I dropped it when it became a $25 Entry thinking that every person in the Country could enter at that price, making it a little harder

I think that's one of their contests, and maybe they are doing one that's similar to the Leroys.

Finished 3rd one year and think I picked up like $2500-$3500, I forget.

Always liked a College FB contest better and the Leroy's was the only good one in town.

Might have to take a look at it next year as well

I believe that potential Winnings would be FAR below "Motivating" when compared to Vegas Contests but linked below appears to be Ron Raymond's NFL Contest, as near as I can figure anyways....

...You could win a Ring and some Money.

Ron Raymond, HarryCaray will recall as may others, was The Father of Phoenix Sports Forum. Existed circa year 2000 IIRC and was around a while. Quite a good forum that was. Just food for thought, the contest linked above. Keep an Eye on it.

Nice man!! The closest to winning I had in any contest was coming in 3rd at a funnel cake eating challenge at the fair.

Hope you have a speedy recovery.
