Cuse -10 @ the Dome vs Iona.

Love Syracuse in this spot. I am an Iona alum, so take this for what it is worth. Watched Iona the other night against UAlbany in which they were consistently dominated on both the offensive and defensive glass. Iona brings in a couple impressive big body transfers (big for the MAAC, not the ACC) in Griffin (6'7") and Edogi (6'8"), and a good looking freshman in Kensmil (6'7"), but doesn't have the size to compete with Syracuse. The crux of Iona's success over the course of Tim Cluess' tenure has been great guard play and shooting ability, but usually with 1 or 2 go to guys that can really fill it up (Washington, English, Machado, Jones, Laury). This team probably does not have a player of that caliber and has yet to identify their best scoring option(s). The Gaels shot 4-22 (18%) from behind the arc against Albany, another key component to their success. I do not see this stat improving against the longer and quicker guards of Syracuse. Look for Iona's lack of size to lead them to early foul trouble and Syracuse to cruise to a home victory.

Sorry to anyone who followed me on this one. Iona played a much better game than they did against Albany. Syracuse is a young squad, doesn't quite know how to close teams out yet. On to the next one!
