I was at a class today and it quoted stats on drunk driving fatalities in 2016. It flashed a bunch of numbers in a short time but one stood out.

In Texas 38% of their deaths were related to drunk driving.

In Minnesota 24% of their deaths.

I don't know where Minnesota ranks compared to other states than Texas.

Do stats like these reflect poorly on the people from states with a higher percentage of deaths by drunk driving? It seems like in today's world there are some many other options available to avoid drunk driving.

I'm sure those two lane roads that have a 70 MPH speed limit has something to do with that stat.

Those are some scary roads.

I ain't buyin' it man. Out of every 10 deaths 3.8 are due to Drunk Driving? How would one ever Verify? Propaganda. (I think.) MADD-financed OPSEC. Ya got Old Age, Heart Disease, Infant Deaths, Drownings, Murders and thats just what I can think of. No Way man. 2.1 IMO would even be stretching the truth. MAYbe 1.3

Ok that’s an important caveat, because I read the first post and thought no way.
