this is true too, we have JetBlue cards which do give extra points when you use it for flights and packages, and even when you just sign up for one
<I don't even use them after I fulfill the requirements to get the bonus points after opening the account. Wife and I each get a card in our own name. Pay for our normal things to hit the minimum requirement the first three months, then put the card away and go back to the Chase Freedom card the rest of the year to get the 1.5 cash back.
