Last week I had this sick feeling right before Friday's UW- Stanford game. My whole card was full of public favorites and underdogs. I was definitely going with the herd and as expected, took a bath. Down about 30 units now, and won't be posting as usual.

However, I do have a big one on Oregon this week at -2.5. They get QB Justin Herbert back as their starter, and the difference between him and the freshman QB is vast. The Ducks could not pass on a 3rd down, literally.
* Also, Arizona is long overdue for a letdown, especially with their crummy D- which has been overshadowed by Tate and Co. Oregon's whole team is extremely excited about this game…coming off a bye. They still have a top notch OL and running game, and a defense that is below average, but plays up in certain games. (I think this will be one of those games). Autzen will be loud as usual, and is one of the closest to the field crowds in college football.
* I can't overstate the difference in the passing game here, or that the Duck players coming off the bye and looking to claim a bowl, will play off the crowd and play with extreme enthusiasm.
* Nice RLM here also. DC Jim Leavitt with 2 weeks to prep for Arizona offense.

Good call with their far and away best QB back and a bye, Oregon will be chomping at the bit and 2 weeks to prepare for AZ QB unique style.
Might be a little chilly for the AZ kids, mid high 40's.
And 5-5 Oregon needs to nail down a bowl bid.
AZ at 7-3 is not going to improve their status much with a win and probably is looking forward to their rivalry game vs AZ State.
On the other hand Oregon knows deep inside they might be able to get that 6th win next week against Ore St.

I know it sucks your down units, but the forum and many posters appreciate the time and effort you put into being part of the forum and sharing your thoughts and analysis on different games. Do what works for you but posting your thoughts encourages analysis and talk by others and the networking is always helpful for the posters and the site regardless what side of the game you like or are thinking of playing for that game. Thanks again, hope you and your family have a nice upcoming Thanksgiving Fred!!

Leavitt always had his way with Rodriguez’s teams at WVU when he was in So Fla

I don't post, partly because I can't remember my password..... But, I figured out my password, so that I could log in and second sharky99's sentiments.
Fred, love reading your insights into these games. Need more posters like yourself who are willing and capable of expressing these angles.

Don't really care how last week turned out... putting my retirement funds on Oregon -3.
