hes a better man than me .. if i filed for bankruptcy it wouldn't be to pay back banks 90 pct of 17 million thats for damn sure, not even fucking close.. its as if his lawyer was a parent teaching a kid a lesson wtf.

he has shown a ton of character he should be commended glad fox hired him as an analyst I'm glad
he's getting a shot at some big bucks if he is good at his job. i wish we had more Mike Vicks.

Guy never struck me as a scumbag.

Did some sick shit with his dogs. Just think he was caught up in that culture. No excuse for it. And he definitely paid the price.

Good to see society giving him a second chance. Hope he can make the best of it and not fuck it up.

A lot of respect for what he did. How many millionaire and have had some of their businesses file for bankruptcy just to get out of paying the debts???
I’m surprised no more pple here has commented on this, I remember a lot of posters bashing the dude when it all happened and even more when he was given a second chance. Great comeback story

Hard not to be surprised at the way this story turned out, but it's nice to see someone take advantage of a 2nd chance.

Wonder what little brother Marcus is up to these days. Something tells me he hasn't been quite as adept at grasping life lessons.

I wouldn't say Mike Vick has "big time character" but glad to see he paid his dues.

Do you think it's possible for a person to ACQUIRE big time character, based on life experiences and how they respond to adversity?

Or do you think someone is born with it or not?

Yeah sure, a person can earn back the character they once had no doubt (except for murderers/rapists etc.). Everyone in life makes errors and hopefully learns from those mistakes.

Don't think anyone is born with character. That is a learned trait.

But more to the point Harry, I don't think a guy has big time character because he pays off his debt to society.

To me, that's like saying a father owes back child support and eventually pays it off in full. He doesn't have character because he did what he was supposed to do. He shouldn't be applauded for paying his debt.

I don't think it's EXACTLY the same thing, but I get what you're saying.

I heard a quote on the radio today from a lawyer (maybe Vick's lawyer, I'm not sure), that in his experience maybe 1% of people in Vick's position do what he did.

Yeah, I don't doubt that statistic at all.
