This is a true story. I won last week but I am getting destroyed this week. Down to my last 748 available. I dont know what to do anymore. I think I would only be able to pay the bookie half of it on settle up day and the rest the following week. But the thing is he has always paid me on time and I would feel like a scumbag if I paid half of it to him late. I am down 2451 and change this week.

The more I think about this Lions game the more confused I become. I want to take the Lions but it seems to me the Vikings might be the play. Theres still 4 days left to recover, why do I feel the need to wager on everything anyway. Why am I such a goddamn degenerate.

I dont even know why I bother coming on here and typing all this and asking. Its not like anyone knows for sure who is going to cover tomorrow. Your guess is as good as mine. Moral support I suppose.

What would you do in this situation? You are down 2450 and down to your last 750 in credit available. It is absolutely imperative that I recover at least most of it by the end of Sunday evening. Whats my best course of action here?

FYI my max bet is $500 per game and $200 on teasers, props, and parlays.

I think my favorite play of tomorrow is the Chargers but what a mindfuck this Lions/Vikings game is.

If you won't be able to pay the 3k if you lose the last 748, my advice would be to stop now. You don't want to dig a deeper hole than you are in. Talk to your local about a possible payment plan. I've been there before. It's not the greatest feeling in the world, but if things don't go your way and you get to 3k down, it will feel even worse.

But, if you do try and make a run, I would definitely suggest not forcing plays. It's only Thursday tomorrow. You have the entire weekend. You obviously don't feel good about the Lions/Vikings game, so why would you bet it? I would also advise to chip away at your balance. No need to make a $500 play and go for the gusto. That's just my advice coming from past experiences. Whatever you decide, BOL.

this is one of the worst times as you have so many games in so many sports, the college basketball many tourneys across the country are the worst imo and i try to tell people to stay away until the conf play starts as the early games are a crap shoot, but back to your problem, if you on a bad losing things slow up and let the games come to you with what you have left, dont chase in hope you will get it back, most times this will never happen and you will go deeper in the hole (ck) ps and things like teasers parlays are nothing but suckers plays, only play these type of wagers when you are up and playing with the book money, not trying to get your money back, they dont work

Don't chase, scared money never wins, just bet some nominal amount and remember tomorrow is another day

Don't increase you bets just because you're down, that's the very worst thing somebody can do. If anything, scale them back.

Don't look for that one play to get even, you'll only double your losses more often than not

don't play anymore until you pay your local .......by betting the last money you are taking a shot at your local knowing you can't pay........

the worse thing you can do is bail out and get even.........your life will be destroyed by doing that.....good luck

I'm confused. If you're down 2450 but still have 748 why do you need to slow pay ? .....or are you saying you're down 2450 and only have 748 ?

He is down 2,450 and had another 750 in credit. He hasn't paid any of the amount he is down, but has maybe 1/2 of that available to pay whens its time for the bookie to collect

Your issue is you are betting what you cannot pay. Standard practice for people who play with a local bookie. Figure they will win so it is not an issue. I have seen people who quit literally 1 dollar short of having to pay their man....They essentially owe thousands but technically don't have to pay if they don't meet the limit. I can't give much advice since I have no clue about your bookie or abilty to win You can quit and hopefully won't face consequences or play per usual if you are good and trust your picks. I don't feel good giving advice on games givin your situation

Don't follow my plays, play the games you like. I was just giving a couple two team parlays that could hit and get you back close to square. You're down 2400 and like JStack said there isn't much difference between 2400 and 3200. As long as you don't stiff most bookies will work with you. Sadly most of us have been where you are at some point in our life. Even if you can only pay the guy $100 a week for a little while as long as you don't stiff, that's really what is important.

been there done that more than once.......like the other poster said there really isnt a huge diffenece.......you still have life, fire away and see what happens....you could chop away at that total or worst case you lose another 750....youre still gonna be making payments either way.
