When I first sent $$ offshore (ESB) and started gambling on sports. 20 years later, I still “play” but I wonder how different my life would have been if I never played at all.
I have no complaints with my personal or professional life but wonder if I would have been better at my job at a younger age had I never played and if i would have had better personal experiences as I could have been doing something else rather than worrying if the nuggets and t-wolves went under the total in a meaningless Tuesday nite game in February.
I have had some fun “paydays” and some annoying “pay the mans” during these 20 years
No regrets. Just wondering
