How Good Are The Eagles?

I think Wentz is very poised for his age ...... especially for his position. He is easy to root for. Good North Dakota work ethic.

The Eagles have looked really good every time I see them. Something tells me that although they look good they may need another year or two before they make a run at the Superbowl.

Then I looked up their schedule. Has anyone had a weaker schedule? They have played exactly 2 teams with records above 50%. They went 1-1 in those games.....beating Carolina on the road and losing to KC on the road.

The next 2 weeks they have better teams on the road in Seattle and Rams but overall a very weak schedule. The weak schedule could hurt them come playoff time.

Weak schedule or not.....As of now they will be at home for the playoffs.....That can only help a young team.

10-1 is really good

The beat Washington twice. Washington is 5-4 in games not played against the Eagles.

No doubt the next 2 weeks on the road against quality teams will be telling.

Not an Eagles fan but it is really easy to root for Wentz. He seems to handle situations like a grizzly vet. . He is only going to get better.

They can be beaten but they certainly have as good if not the best chance of getting to the SB and winning

Good but beatable. Only loss was when KC was feeling it. And had Eric berry.

Eagles are getting healthier too.

But I like seatttle a lot next week vs them.

I did comment to my son yesterday that it seems like there are more good teams and bad teams than in the past. The bad teams being really bad and I am not sure if any of the good teams are great teams....more just good relative to the the weaker teams.

I think part of that is because if you went back in time before the salary cap. You had some great teams. You were able to keep the core of your team together for a longer period of time. Now it is designed to try to make the field level and make the weakest teams improve through the draft and free agent. Seattle a couple of years ago looked to be great for the next 5 years. Salary cap starts to take effect and brings them down. They cant pay to keep everyone happy and when they do the amount available for back-ups is reduced. Injuries start to play havoc.

This has worked out across the NFL except for Cleveland....hahaha.
