they did have some wins, according to the link;

[FONT=&quot]'The tobacco companies won some significant gains. They won't have to admit to having deliberately lied and manipulated in their advertising and promotional campaigns. They won't have to include lurid images of what smoking does to people.'

hmm, why don't they want the lurid images available to the public? :)

isn't is amazing? There is ,unequivocally , data illustrating its harmful effects (morbidity/mortality). It has ZERO health benefits. Yet, it is cannabis that is labelled as a schedule 1 drug.........gotta shake your head

[FONT=&quot]"The ads will finally run after 11 years of appeals by the tobacco companies aimed at delaying and weakening them," the American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, American Lung Association, Americans for Nonsmokers' Rights, National African American Tobacco Prevention Network and the Tobacco-Free Kids Action Fund said in a joint statement.'

The second sentence of the link is a major admission by Big Tobacco. "The tobacco companies worked to make them as addictive as possible".

it is really sick that marijuana is called a highly dangerous drug with no
medical or redeeming values.
