Sounds silly but yes we do. Holiday time and we have a little more "downtime" as the kids are off from school.

I understand seeing a movie more than once (who hasn't stopped to watch a few minutes of Shawshank for the 4326rd time?) but purposely putting on the same movies again and again I do not understand.

No need to "put a movie on". These movies are constantly on tv during the month of december. Sometimes we have to watch the "edited" version but oh well
