Houston Texans at Baltimore Ravens (-7.5)

Total: 38
PickCenter public consensus pick: 64 percent on Baltimore

Phil Steele

I will quickly point out that four of Baltimore's five wins have come against three teams with backup quarterbacks and another against a rookie making his first road start. Well, this week they get another backup quarterback in Tom Savage. Houston has just 28 total points in Savage's first three starts but put up 31 last week versus Arizona. Baltimore knows how to put a team away, with all five wins coming by 13 points or more. Since losing three of its defensive stars to injury, Houston has allowed foes 44 yards per game more than they average coming in. In Baltimore's last marquee home game, they beat Miami 40-0, despite only having a 295-196 yardage edge. I will lean with the Ravens.

ATS pick: Lean on Baltimore

Erin Rynning

The Texans remain resilient after losing arguably the three best players on the team: Deshaun Watson, J.J. Watt and Whitney Mercilus. However, winning against the struggling Arizona Cardinals doesn't give much confidence after three straight losses. With Savage at quarterback and Will Fuller V expected to miss the game at wideout, the points will be extremely difficult to come by. Certainly, the Ravens have continued issues on offense, but there's still some room for improvement from this unit.

Pick: Lean on Baltimore

Warren Sharp

Last week, Savage delivered a 69 percent completion percentage, a 55 percent success rate and a 97 passer rating against a beat-up Cardinals defense. The Ravens' defense is firing on all cylinders right now. They've shut out two of their last three opponents, which is nearly impossible to do in the NFL. The big problem for the Texans will be pass protection. They rank 30th on the season even though they have played the fourth-easiest schedule of pass-rushing defenses. The Ravens have played four teams with poor pass protection offensive lines. They shut out two of them and allowed 10 points to another. I believe the Texans are in big trouble -- the fact that they scored 31 last week to surprise some people is a red herring, and I would be surprised if their offense performed well in this game.

Pick: Lean on Baltimore

Mike Clay

Prediction: Baltimore 22, Houston 15
