I just want to remind everyone that there’s a little luck involved in all of this and we shouldn’t forget that fact. The “bad break” element is real. Unabashedly, my card hinged on the Rams/Saints game being a shootout. I had game total and each team’s total. The announcer stated, “this game is just as expected; a lot of offense and a lot of passing”. Problem was TD’s called back and penalties and TO’s near the goal line. In the late third through the fourth quarter, there were FIVE straight FG’s and all I needed was ONE of them to be a TD and I would have won all three bets.

Great point and I will add the bone head coaching moves that effect winning tickets.....

I understand your point, but you needed two of those five FG's to be TD's. For each TD you only add 4 points due to the FG coming off the board. One would get you to 50, and two to 54.

Nonetheless, I feel your pain, numerous FG's in any game kill OVERS and bad teams (See the Lions Sunday night loss month ago vs the Steelers when the were continually inside the 10 and only scored 15 points on 5 FG's; not that I am still bitter or anything about it.)

Hope things get better.

Cheers!
