I was looking through the lines and a few games jump off the board to me.

I haven’t played anything yet so I’d like to hear feedback from anyone who agrees or disagrees with me and why:

Clemson +2.5....I know Bama is gonna get healthy on D but I still think Clemson’s D is better.....also give the edge to Clemson on offense (only question being Qb experience). I’m shocked Clemson is favored by 3.

Oklahoma +2.....Georgia beat an overrated ND team by 1 on the road (early) - they played 1 good team the rest of the regular season and got crushed...they didn’t have to play Bama or LSU. I give them credit for beating Auburn in the rematch but that was such a tough spot for Auburn. That game vs Bama was the biggest win of those kids lives and to get back up right after and have to play a Ga team that was rested and out for revenge....not to mention Auburn’s best player was no where near 100%.
Georgia is a year ahead of schedule here, they have a nice d and good rb’s back a true freshman Qb having to keep up with Mayfield - I just can’t see it.

Penn State -2.5......this team lost by 1 point on the road in an epic game vs. a really good Ohio st team - then had to turn around and play in a monsoon after a 4 hour rain delay and lose on a last second fg vs. mich st. If things fall a little different this team could easily have been in the top 4. They will lay 35 minimum on Washington so I just don’t see how Washington will be able to keep up.

Love to hear anyone’s thoughts on the above....thanks!!!

:think2: Do you mean you're shocked Clemson isn't favored by 3 . Being a Clemson fan I hope they win but I think Alabama has revenge on their mind and wins by 6 JMHO

I won't comment on your first game because i'm a Bama fan

Next game i'm leaning to Oklahoma but have not finished researching the whole game, but don't start making excuses about Auburn on how they were in a tough position for the championship game, and how Georgia didn't play anyone except a overrated Notre Dame team which was not called that for about 10 weeks of the season, and how Georgia avoided Lsu and Alabama, and about Auburn's RB playing at not 100%,well they have other good backs and if he was not valuable enough to help the team out ,then he should not have played at all....and if you can't get up for a championship game which would more than likely put you in the pool of four to win a title then there is something wrong there.

Game three,i do like Penn St also,as the no defense Pac-12 won't be able to keep up with a very good offensive team, and i see the game going over 55 rather easily cause Washington will put up some points

thats it for me ,..and i wish you good luck

Thanks for the feedback “the key man”......trust me, I take nothing away from Ga in that champ. game, they took care of business no doubt, just pointing out for several reasons it was a very tough spot for Auburn....and add to that most teams that play Bama struggle the next week in general due to the phsicality and emotion of that game. Either way all 3 games should be great....good luck to you too!

Hey exploited17....here are my quick thoughts on those games:

USC - I like - I think they can win outright....much better Qb and better defense than people think.

Iowa St - I like - Memphis D is horrible.

Tex A&M - Not sure...lots of points in this one for sure.

SC - I actually like Michigan here, I think there defense will suffocate the gamecocks and the offense with Qb healthy will do enough like 27-10 ish..

Mich St - tough to call

BC - like this team a lot - too bad Qb got hurt or else I would love them - I’ll prob stay away.

Boise st - tough call - I know Oregon’s coach is gone but when healthy Oregon can put up serious points, not sure Boise can keep up.

Good luck and keep me posted with any additional thoughts!

The thing about Clemson is that Watson was a superior passer, that is important vs. Bama. But Bryant is NOT a top passer at all. I lean to Bama. Bama's now-almost-healthy D and a month to prepare with Saban and though Hurt is not a passer, either, he is experienced and knows how to deal with this all.

OK-GA will be a blowout one side or the other, who's philosophy prevails. IMO GA has not seen ANYTHING like Mayfield and on natural grass will not be able to get to him and swarm with their speed D, so I would lean to OK. Hell if GA is up 10 with 5 min to go Mayfield could still win the game... but I think it will be a blowout one side or the other.

Agree with Penn St.

Serbone: there is no doubt If the LB’s are healthy Bama’s D is one of the best....Clemson’s D is also really raeally good so that could almost be a wash at that point. I agree that Watson was clearly on another level but Bryant when healthy has been pretty strong and Clemson has a ton of playmakers so in the end I lean towards the points and the defending champs - good luck!!

I like Oklahoma and Pens State a lot more than Clemson btw:

I also really like LSU and Okie State!

Washington State. Leach cut the wr cancers, team should respond.

While i love the matchups for ucf, the situation for Auburn is just too good to pass on. Even if ucf says all the right things, i doubt they can get up for a 3 loss team when they should be in the playoff, are off an overtime win against a better team for their conference championship and play a no-name SEC school. No one gets excited for Auburn. UCF almostvassuredly sleepwalks and despite not matching up well with the UCF athletes, Auburn wins going away. That situation just leaps off the board.

1osu ... Can you elaborate on why lsu?

I don't understand the line. It basically says lsu = uga (who nd outplayed in defeat). Buddy told me to wait to see who is a go for nd and who does the nfl sit out. I think the extra praxtices help lsu more but don't see why they rush for more than nd in the game and if i lose because of lsu qb i can live with it.

But interested in your take on the game

Personally, I dont think the UGA game is a good reference. UGA was still finding their way and just beginning to reach their potential. That was a great game and could have gone either way. I think what matters to me in this one is how these two finished the season. ND was just awful as they were exposed in so many areas. LSU on the other hand just came on strong, after the Troy game they got their feet under them against UF ( which many did ) then they just rolled, playing hard physical football, going toe to toe with Alabama. I think Etling throwing the deep ball just forces teams to play them honest defensively. Cant crowd the box and Guice is one tough SOB.

I think they may want to settle a score from the 2014 Music City Bowl in a big way.

1osubucks......I totally agree on LSU - they will be one of my biggest plays- two teams going in the complete opposite direction - LSU will be excited and motivated which are 2 things that are huge in these bowl games(find the teams that want to be there) plus this is a great matchup for the LSU defense which is so athletic and fast, they will load up against the ND run and force QB to throw the ball (just like Miami did)...which is a major problem for ND....I think LSU wins by 20 plus...good luck!!

When I looked at the stats and the lines, two jumped right out:

PURDUE +3.5 - Arizona is a very one dimensional offensive team without a strong defense. Purdue run defense is solid, giving up 3.6 YPC during the season, and only 94 YPG over last 4 games. Purdue should move the ball and score some points and be able to hold Arizona. I was very surprised to see this line, I though it would be Purdue giving the points.

AUBURN -9.5 - UCF has feasted mostly on inferior defenses all season long, ones that couldn't match their offensive speed. They will score their points because of how good they are, but when Auburn has the ball, I envision Auburn being able to do whatever it is they want to do. Of course, if Auburn isn't motivated to do so, it may be a different game, but I am willing to take a chance due to the disparity of the defenses here.

I really like USC in this game also,i believe Ohio ST is not really going to be up for this game after being snubbed for not getting in the playoff

Iowa St - I like - Memphis D is horrible.

Right now i like the over, but have to wait and see the weather forecast as it gets closer, don't like the game itself as why the game is played in Boise is beyond me

Good luck and keep me posted with any additional thoughts!

that's my thoughts
