It’s because odds makers put a 1pt favorite on a no/ atl game that could swing one way or the other 20 minutes before game time.
We’ll look at both ends...

No(1) at atl 51...
No 2-5 ats as div rd favs s 12
No 6-1 ats as div rd dogs s 15
No 3-18 under as div rd dogs of less than 10pts s 03
Atl 5-0-1 ats in 3rd of 3 straight home games s 06
Atl 20-9 ats after scoring 10pts or less s 04
Atl 2-5 ats as div home favs s 14
Atl 5-0 ats as div home dogs s 13
Atl 9-2 over before mnf s 07
Series..road favs are 2-7 ats s 05
..........dog covered last 7 straight s 13 and 12 of last 16 s 09
The posted total of 51pts is inconsequential in this series when the game is in Atlanta, there will either be 30pts or 70pts scored..one way or the other the total outcome will be 20pts off.

This game is literally the perfect example of why I created the #’s system of removing the point spread from the equation.

I’ve been told on here with great accuracy that you should never trust Cleveland, but after living in Milwaukee for 56 years the one thing I know for sure is that in the nfl when it comes to the ridiculous business of snapping strings be it winning ones or losing ones, usually Green Bay is involved. LOL
This will probably be Cleveland’s first win.

Honestly I haven’t ran the #’s yet, I’m still watching the the fast start teams...projected sb winner after week 4...I want to see if Pittsburgh ( one of the only 2 afc teams standing..kc) faces any host of teams still possible from the nfc...phi, min, car, no, lar, atl or sea.
There’s only 6 teams who qualified to win...Pitt, most likely, kc, possible, den, no chance, dal, ehh, gb, no chance, atl, possible.
But now that you mentioned it, I’ll run the #’s on it this weekend.

Has zero to do with spread. Has everything to do with games power numbers. His power number is the road favorite

Equates the road team favored by one.

Goto chart and it will show road favorites (again according to power numbers) is 6-1 against the spread. No matter what the Vegas or offshore line is.
