Can make an argument for that, I'd say.

-- Best record in the league.
-- Tied for 2nd best home record in the league. (If NYI lose a home game soon, they'll be tied for 1st.)
-- Most goals scored in the league.
-- In 3rd place for fewest goals given up. (Skewed b/c they score so much and garbage goals conceded.)
-- Goal differential is 32 -- best in the league

Tonight they face last place Colorado who has won 4 of 12 games on the road. Colorado outscored 13-5 in last 3 games (all at home) and their last game was a home loss to the league worst Buffalo.

I think Colorado needs 4 goals in this game to win it. If they get 3 goals, maybe they have a shot at OT.

That was the perfect storm. Tampa #1 playing a last place team that is reeling. Easy win. Ridiculously potent offense.
