Because Trump is going to the opening of the Civil Rights museum.

He was at the game last year, and got a wildly enthusiastic reception.

Note: Obama only went 1 Army/Navy game and I bet you were quite upset about that.

Not exactly related to this thread, but a few weeks ago, I read where Trump is rooting for the Supreme Court to turn down New Jersey's request for gambling in the upcoming case. ( Woody Johnson owner of the NY Jets is one of his close buddies for what that's worth)

Don't believe everything you read.......NJ will get sports betting, did you see what the supreme court justices reactions were? Also, Trump is not rooting for PASPA, he would like none other than to svrew the NFL because the NFL is totally against gambling.

All the supreme court experts that follow every case say it will be a 6-3 win for NJ......the 3 no's come from the 3 women judges.

Did you read what all the questions the judges threw at the attorneys for the NFL & the leagues? Pretty much told them it was unconstitutional to have Vegas with sports betting & not other states. All the experts that were inside the court room stated the judges will throw PASPA out & let each state do their own thing with sports betting since congress don't know how to do it federally.

Have to admit that I haven't followed the proceedings at all... Been disappointed so many times before, especially when the Supreme Court refused to even hear the case when Delaware brought it. Happy to hear things look GOOD this time... But it ain't over till it's over..

Huge difference between the state court in 2012 & only 1% of cases out of thousands that are heard in the supreme court......the cars heard at the supreme court have a 75% & higher chance if being overturned, & I've been following every article written about the supreme court case. This is about as close of a slam dunk as you will ever see on legalizing sports betting.
