I'm doubting that Alabama has much of a gay population - and I don't see why women would not vote for Moore - even if Moore tried to date the girl when she was 14 - it was in another lifetime - I'm not condoning it but who knows what the culture was 40 years ago in the deep south - it's like when Vick was dog fighting - I wanted to see him shot but thousands of people from the south said it was part of the their culture - I have never heard of Moore disrespecting women - this is even if you believe shit from 40 years ago - fuck, the vast majority of posters here were not born 40 years ago

I think it's a fluid situation, unusual circumstances in an unusual political climate with the partisan divide being at an all-time highs and a President who's popular with his supporters and hated by his opponents

I think a very high turnout will be good for Moore, expecting the base to come home. I don't think the Republican base turns out to support a liberal democrat
