It's a division game and Arrowhead has one of the best home field advantages in the NFL. And the Chargers are laying points?

the Chargers will win this game, they are a genuine match for the top AFC teams (at NE would be a challenge but i'd like them @ Pit bigtime)....they're well rounded right now...and the Chiefs are garbage, its just the Raiders have (for ages now) no idea how to score against them....For mine this game feels exactly like Chargers (favourites) @ Dallas, they knew exactly what they were doing (I declared Chargers would win that game) and I'm confident they win this too

Chargers playing well lately on both sides of the ball, that matters to oddsmakers..

Chargers are solid in every category, they have gelled and are on a tear, good O, top QB, defense is not just good but disruptive. I put them up there with NE and Pittsburgh (especially since both are dinged up), Chargers are relatively healthy.
KC defense is porous, off a long losing streak just beat a dysfunctional Raider team in KC, so what? I think the KC OL will be exposed vs the Chargers.
Chargers, BIG, unless it is very cold < 32 degrees or so.

Maybe I haven't been paying enough attention to the Chargers this year. After looking it up it appears their D is actually really solid. As someone mentioned above this does feel exactly like them being favored at Dallas earlier this yr...maybe the linesmaker got it right here.

I don't follow this division closely but damn the chargers have looked great. KC has been trending down. I'm not a big believer in Andy Reid and to be honest I don't think the players fully buy into him either. Regardless of that, I watched him struggle with the Eagles for a really long time before I gave it up. I think Andy Reid is a good coach, but not a great one. And you can see this team finally coming back to earth as the season goes on. This line doesn't surprise me (although this game is stay away for me). Two close teams looking to one up each other.

Chargers should be 9-4 if they didn't go cheap on a kicker and lose two with that hyped Asian rookie

And they are literally doing this without a home field advantage of any kind

correct, they would/should/could be right in the fight for the top couple of seeds....as it is I could see them doing what teams like the Giants have done and got hot at the right time and won it from the wildcard, this is not an overly strong season there are question marks over most of the top teams in both the AFC and NFC....NE and Pit aren't unbeatable (especially Pit imo)...who knows who will end up coming out of the NFC, I took the Chargers @ 66/1 at the start of the season, probably still unlikely but they're not in without a fighting chance

Everyone likes the Chargers. That alone should probably tell you something. Doesn't always work out that way. But....I am happy with KC -1 and +3 as my bets

okay, lets just see what this LA team is all about, not as impressive as people think, but not bad lets get that straight

Teams they lost to,..Denver-split this series, but a bad team,..Miami-a bad team,..KC-when the Chiefs were playing good,...Philadelphia-a good team,..NE-a good team,...Jax-pretty decent this year

Teams they beat,..NY Giants-a bad team,...Oakland,-team not so good due to up and down week to week,...Buffalo,,-not the team to fear,..Dallas-downhill this year,...Cleveland-the worst,..Washington

So this great defense everybody is talking about has only played against poor teams

Now,lets look at KC,which is my team and i myself know their defense is bad right now and i bitch them every week in the last 7,their defensive backs are very poor, and linebackers can't cover a back out of the backfield,so before i hear about them,i know how bad they have become after their 5-0 start

So this is how they went against the same teams that LA played

KC-lost to NY Giants even though they should have won,but DIDN'T,..Buffalo-another poor team they lost to,..-NY Jets-a bad team they should have beat but DIDN'T,..Dallas-just flat out didn't play well,..Oakland-split with them,.Pittsburgh-a good team

Teams KC beat,..NE-a very good team,..Philadelphia-a very good football team,..Washington-a so-so team,..Oakland-split with them,..Houston-turned out to be a poor team,..Denver-a poor team,..LA-playing a bit well now

So lets look at they beat and who KC beat

NEW ENGLAND
PHILADELPHIA

LA-i'll throw them in since we are talking about them

LA-teams they beat
NY GIANTS-KC-LOST TO THEM
OAKLAND-WE SPLIT
DENVER-WE BEAT THEM
BUFFALO-WE LOST TO THEM
DALLAS-WE LOST TO THEM
CLEVELAND-THE WORST TEAM
WASHINGTON-WE BEAT THEM ALSO

So even though it's a different part of the season,we still have to compare them

LA-has beaten no one,the teams they lost to are all good teams except MIAMI,DENVER

KC-has beaten NEW ENGLAND-PHILADELPHIA-and LA the first time

So when LA lost 4 straight to open the season i have to believe everybody said they sucked, just like when KC opened at 5-0 people were like, this team is good, which surprised to open the season i'll say myself

So lets not think that LA is superior to KC cause their not,and they have no business being favored over KC at arrowhead

just my opinion people,so don't jump all over me,..and good luck with your wagers no matter who you take

i hope i didn't make a typo somewhere,but i am human,..lol

SOS:

KC # 12

Chargers # 26

A significant differential, and yes, it matters...

Man, I could waste a good, cold afternoon shooting holes in this boat, but what's the point. Is the KC team playing today the KC team that beat NE in Week 1. Negative captain, not even close. Is the Chargers team that started out 0-4 the same team that's playing Week 15, again, negative captain. I'll more than likely stay clear of this one, but at this juncture in the season, you can't compare current vs. September results, that hound don't hunt.
