I'm in the process of doing a deposit at coinbase, but. I'm literally terrified on this one. Bitcoin has gone bonkers over the last week and a half. I don't like waiting the 5 days for the money to clear my bank account, feeling it could lose significant value if it flips the other way. I tried hooking up my PP account to it, but it won't take. Is there another site or different way of processing this for a faster turnaround?
If you buy on coinbase you then lock in the price of BTC when you buy it. I.e it's around 16,500 for a btc right now. You get that price.
You just don't get the btc until 6-8 days later. But you do lock in the price. Just won't be able to pay someone with it for the duration of the processing.
