Bellicheck owns Tomlin and the Steelers. Why would you ever bet on Tomlin?

Bellicheck has utterly destroyed Tomlin.

Belly is 6-2 SU vs. Tomlin.
Belly is 4-1 SU vs. Tomlin IN Pittsburgh.

Belly's wins have been by a whopping 16 pt average vs. Tomlin.

You take away Rothslbrgr and Tomlin is a .500 lifetime coach.

This is almost the perfect situation. Patriots coming off a tough loss after winning 8 in a row and going 7-1 ATS, just demolishing teams. Meanwhile, the Steelers, although they've won 8 in a row are in a clear decline. They fluked wins over Balitmore, Cincy and Green Bay and are missing the Vegas line by almost 7 points per game.

The line opened tight and now Pats have jumped up to -3.

This is going to be yet another loss for Tomlin.

I don't care about either team,, but they both won 8 in a row prior to losing their last game and pitt is on a clear decline? Pitt is tied for the best record in the league with the eagles ( this is where you would say pitts schedule was weak or they fluked wins)..eagles and pats have about the same looking sos as pitt so there is no use of comparison there..Pitt though has the leading rusher and leading receiver in the league. Defensively pitt has looked sloppy but if you are using stats then pats and pitt are equal at points against with 250 and 251. Factor in that pats will be on 6 days rest and 3rd road game in a row then why wouldn't I take a chance on tomlin and the steelers? those 6-2's, 7-1's,4-1's stats never seem to work when I bet with them.

Will Pitt play a soft zone (like the playoffs last year) and let Brady pick them apart? Will Tomlin learn his lesson?

If these were any two other teams, you'd have a point. But this is Bellicheck, the best NFL coach of all time. And he is facing a mental midget. It is the same story over and over again. I'd have some confidence in the Steelers if it weren't for their recent play, but it is a mirage. They should've been 0-3 in those last 3 games and they are trending to the decline.

How can a team winning 8-games be declining? It is like a car speeding down the highway and all looks good, but internally under the hood there is incontinuity in the parts and though the car is moving forward the internals start to cough and have fits until it eventually affects the whole of the organism/vehicle. You most often see this in tennis players of a high ranking that continue to advance against lower level players in a tourney; maybe they've won two tourneys in a row, but in this tourney they eek out their first three wins and the fans only see the W at the end of the day.... but internally there are problems and if you examine their matches, there are major issues. Then they face a higher level player that they can't escape/fluke against and they go "BYE-BYE".

The Pats had a really bad game and they rightfully lost, but the closing line of around -11 on the road was reflective of reality. It was just one of those days and that happens from year to year, like the Steelers losing at home as a 15-pt fave to Jacksonville a number of years back.

The NFL is a league of recency. Too many people are getting fooled by that one game by the Patriots, whereas many are ignoring the decline of the Steelers b/c at the end of the day is a W is being produced.

I cannot say this enough. Without Rothlsbrg, coach Tomlin is a .500 level coach. And his playoff record would be 30%.

You take away Tom Brady and Bellichick is ______?

I love that you think this is some hot take.

Brady went down for a year and Bellicheck made his replacement look like a God.

It is a hot take b/c so many people are fooled by Tomlin.

Now list Bellichick's record with the Cleveland Browns and add it to his 1 year without Brady.

I'm not sure who you think is fooled by Tomlin. He's widely regarded as an idiot and clown in Pittsburgh.

to say it's a perfect situation highlights your bias

NE on a short week
NE on back to back road games

Perfect situation involves neither of those

Comical that the original poster is too dumb to even correctly spell the last name of the man he calls "the greatest coach of all time."

BELICHICK you dumb fuck.

I like Pats on Sun. They will gladly let Ben throw the ball 50 times again. Tomlin isn't the greatest coach but his career winning % is better than his predecessor, a very overrated Bill Cowher. Same playoff record and same amount of SB rings.

The joke is on you, liberal douchebag.

The 'check' in his name is for the checks Bellicheck writes off of Tomlin's bewildered ass in game after game.

If you noticed, once the 2nd half rolled around it was all Patriots. If Brady hadn't thrown his first INT vs the Pats in over 8 years (shows you how good Tomlin is in getting Brady to make a mistake), then you could argue that the Steelers don't get a TD in the whole 2nd half or maybe even not score. And the Steelers are about 8th in the league in scoring, playing at home for home field throughout and etc, etc.

That one turnover was huge for the rhythm of the game. Without you'd have had Pittsburgh playing from behind for the remainder of the game.

In any event, at the end of the day the Steelers and Tomlin found a way to lose the genius even when his team didn't put up their best performance. Now if only the Steelers will play in the playoffs at the Patriots, b/c for that game the Patriots won't have two such type games in a row against Tomlin.... and the Pats will win by 7 or more without a doubt.

In the world of the NFL it is always high drama and there are countless 'what ifs' and 'what thens', but isn't it odd that no matter what happens at the end of the day Tomlin almost always loses to Bellicheck?

We can only hope that they will meet in the playoffs.

Actually the joke is on you. The guy you are ripping(Tomlin), could buy and sell your entire gene pool and still have millions in the bank. Get back to rubbing one out to your Hannity pictures buttboy.
