Doesn't matter because the Yankees don't sweat money. But he is a 5 inning pitcher now. Did a decent job in the playoffs. Only two games over 7 innings. None after July 12. But if you replace him with someone else for 10 million you probably will get something similar. I would dump him and take a chance though

I’m sure the Yankees know what they’re doing but at this point looking at this from afar it just seems like squeezing blood out of a turnip. Can he perform well the entire upcoming season? Bless the man if he can. Yankees are admirable to watch. To bad they’ll be losing to the Angels next year! Ha Ha!

If he repeats last year, than it' s a good deal for the Yankees..But I have serious doubts.

i dont think so....cc had an awesome year last year .... looks a lot more calm and focused on the mound ....i think last year had a lot to do with him cutting back on his drinking...good move by the yanks.....cc will do well as long as he controls his drinking.
