Will the FAU students be there or is it Christmas break getaway already? I am guessing a lot will be on the way home, at least.

FAU wins CUSA Conference Championship game and, what, they play the blowout loser of the MAC Conference Championship Game? Not too exciting for the players, it would be best if the home student crowd was there to cheer them on every TD.

I like FAU but worried about their motivation to cover -22 1/2. I am deciding small, medium, or large.

Dog or nothing. If they can cover that good for you.

BTW...it can be a blowout and they still don't cover

It might be a 48-55 point game for FAU if they are pumped, that is why I am wondering if the students will be there in full force (doubt they will be). The Akron O is very poor even playing in the weak D MAC environment, sure, late backdoor scores might cover for them like vs Toledo when they were losing 36-0 but I don't know if they will be able to get garbage points in this foreign environment.

Of course I do not like laying 22 1/2, but even though it is a bowl game you have to look at team O, D, QB's, conference bowl history, regular season results, coaching, weather, location, SOS, eg FAU has a top O with superior team speed and Akron is not in the top 100 for offense. Three and out for Akron, and FAU gets the ball again. How many times? Akron D will be exhausted.

Small, medium, or large for me, TBD, either way, FAU.

I don't disagree. I will small play or nothing on Akron. Better games out there

I agree but you posted it, what are your reasons? I
am going with a small action play at this point but might make it medium or large. So can you help, what is your angle?

Kiffin has been showcasing his talent all season long. He has his guys playing lights out vs the c-usa and now he gets a shot at Akron from the Mac in a bowl.

Another spotlight on Kiffin and his team today, another chance to showcase.

I think that is true but still not sure if they will really pound away for 4 quarters...

I think the question is how many points can Akron put up? Nelson as qb last few games has done ok. Like FAU but even Kiffin can step off the gas after 3 td's. Heck he did it earlier this year and publicly laughed about not covering.

Agree, yes that is it I am thinking Akron's poor offense will go 3 and out a lot and FAU gets the ball over and over and over and they will wear down Akron with their speed and fancy offense... huge blowout if they are hungry and want to show off.
BUT I cannot imagine FAU and Kiffen being pumped to play MAC runner up Akron. How in the world was this game arranged?
