Looking at two teams who played one ranked opponent each leaves a lot for thought on a line that has moved over 5 points since it opened at 17.
Akron is now getting 22.5 or more and surprising as it is, the public seems to be leaning on Akron. Akron has no running game but seemed to improve in the last 3 games on the season running for over 100 yds in each game. Two of those games were against bowlers.
Fla Atlantic is one of the best offensive teams and could really roll up a volume of points, but again - they did not do well against Wisconsin as a 33 point dog, only scoring 2 td's.
Bad teams in bowl games getting over 20 points exposes one thing in my opinion. They were forced to play against a team that was best suited for them by the bowl committee to at least have a chance to compete.
Im grabbing the +22.5 points and hope that FAU is bored and over confident tonight.
