info about the SMU-LT bowl game

I was reading a thread across the street and evidently, SMU is in turmoil. The head coach took the job as Arkansas head coach and took most of his offensive coaches with him. The assistant head coach and running backs coach was named interim head coach. The players like him and wanted him to be named the permanent head coach but, it was given to Sonny Dykes instead causing the players to get very upset. The practices are being run by a graduate assistant and the QB. I doubt they are watching much film. And, I think the motivation will not be there for the SMU team. I could copy and paste the thread or give you a link to it but, I don't want to break any rules. I have been a member here for a long time and don't want to do something wrong. I am just trying to give out info to help!

Not that I am questioning you bc that may very well be the case but why would Dykes not attend and run practice?

SMU is the better team. I think they should win. Bowl games are not that simple though. I rarely play favorites. Just my way of betting bowls. I will stay away from this game

I’ve been leaning to the dog so far & I’ve been wondering about the situation at SMU.
It might not truly affect the game but needs to be looked into and considered.
I’d hate to take SMU and they come out with no fire.

I live in Dallas. Frankie's information is correct re: practice etc. Not sure how many practices the QB ran but it started out that way. Sonny pretty much said he would stay out of the way-kinda.

Coaching changes are never good at Bowl time. Oregon had coaching turmoil also and looked awful in their game. There are 8 games with some type of significant coaching issue. The first one lost and looked awful as a TD fav. SMU is the next game on the list.

In addition. Sonny Dykes is horrible ats. Dykes is 3-10 as a favorite against teams that have a .500 record or better.

Jeff Traylor was named interim but after they named Dikes he left with Morris for Arkansas

Looks like Sonny Dykes is there...not that he knows the system that they'll run. Grad student calling the plays on O and I believe most of the D staff is there (not that it matters much as their D is complete shit)

One of the worst d in the country. It would be great if d coaching staff left before game as well. Just put small bets on smu at -3.5 109 ov 70.5-105 @5d
