Was a great game. Showed great resilience. Do feel bad for SDST but Army did their thing.

I was lucky to get Army +11 during live betting so wasn't sweating it as much as everyone else. Wish I had the ML. :)

Second 10 win season in Army history.

Great win indeed Clover. Here are a couple of facts regarding Army football and "10 win seasons": Army played only (9) games each season up until 1962 at which time they started playing 10 game seasons like most other teams. Their first bowl game ever was in the the short-lived "Cherry Bowl" (1984) at which time they defeated Michigan State, 10-6 (I remember the win in the Silver Dome in Pontiac, Michigan).

Army had many great coaches including Paul Dietzle back during the early 1960's who ended up gathering fame at LSU and Earl "Red" Blaik, who coached the Cadets right after World War ll, they were ranked one or two back in 1945 & 46 led by All-Americans Doc Blanchard and Glenn Davis. I "listened" to those Army games on the radio....(ha). Bill Stern was the sportscaster...No TV then....ha again. I remember the Army/Notre Dame game of 1946 well, the final Score was a scoreless tie...0--0; The game was labeled the "game of the century" back then.

I was 12 years old when I started following college football in 1946.........It has been quite a ride on-up to the present (2017). Talk about changes !!!

Good luck with your Bowl Plays Clover and Merry Christmas to you and your family.

I remember him well mrgangja.......He was one of the best.......

+1

most of the announcers today give me a headache.

My all time favorite was radio host Larry Munson for the Georgia Bulldogs. Even as a Bama
fan, if I could listen to a Bulldog game with Munson....I would. Best I ever heard for CFB.

Our family had our Christmas today and it was special.

My take was seeing all the kids and their growth...knowing time is
moving fast. Thank you God!

What resolve by those young men. I take great comfort in watching our service academies compete.
