The Flu

Woke up at 5am Christmas morning with a 104 fever and throwing up. Today I find out I have the flu. This stuff is brutal.

Wow, 10 days is brutal. I got it last year during my busiest time @ work and was out for about 3 - 4 days. Felt back to normal after about 6/7 days

That wont do a thing. I like the whole eating healthier thing, but hate it when people preach pseudo-science like a religion.

The best way to keep from getting the flu is to wash your hands. Hand washing is more effective than getting a flu shot.

A few years ago I had the flu around Christmas. Came into work anyway. After a couple hours of coughing, sneezing, and throwing up, the boss told me to get the hell out of there and don't come back till I was feeling better.

Caught the flu for the one and only time in my life on Christmas Day, 2014. I felt physically drained for about 3 weeks.

Just over two months later I had quadruple bypass surgery

I've never really been sick or been in a hospital before or since
