I thought I heard rumors of FL St players who aren't going to play. Not sure if that could be something. It is always possible So Miss is a very strong play or that people are just taking the chance on so many points. The much odder part is it started at 14...went to 17. Now it is down to 11-12

I also heard the rumors yesterday and with the coach situation too, but within the last 45mins the line went from -14.5 to -11.5, going below the prime number. Takes a lot of money to drop below 14.

Just curious what the rumors are? Any names to go with players being out? The line movement could just be a bunch of people taking the points... trying to figure it out

Cornerback Derwin James, receiver Ermon Lane, linebacker Matthew Thomas and defensive lineman Josh Sweat have all decided to skip the bowl game and prepare for the NFL Draft, rather than risk injury.

Anyone know why Arizona/Purdue is off the board at 5dimes?
I dont see it off the board and I see no reason on the AP wire that would suggest any reason why.

They don't want to take a chance of injury to ruin their 3rd and 4th round draft status lol

Hopefully more of those fools bail out before gametime.

Sickening, these players are high impact and are deserting their teammates. This started with a few like Fournette and is now prevalent, players are skipping bowl games all the time. AND Fisher deserted them all, so there is another problem, IMO coaches leaving bowl teams are despicable, the rule needs to change so no coaches can be contacted EVER until the team's season is over. Probably against some law...
Tonight, several top Texas players are sitting out, with an already thin-with-injuries Texas squad.
Course, I have Fla St. - 13 in this one.

should not even have bowls if players are not playing and at full speed. These bowls don’t mean squat. Do away with them and put top 8 teams in playoff

coaches like these bowls because you get that many extra weeks of practice and it helps recruiting. players like the free trips and the goodie bags they get from the venue(beats by dre, best buy gift cards etc)

Yes, they do. They mean millions for the universities. That's all they care about.

Many schools lose money sending teams to lower tier bowl games.
