Embattled Indianapolis Colts head coach Chuck Pagano seemingly sees the writing on the wall. At 3-12 on the season, Indianapolis will finish up its disastrous 2017 campaign against the Houston Texans Sunday afternoon.

And it looks like Pagano is preparing for this to be his final game as the Colts’ head coach.

Zak Keefer @zkeefer Chuck Pagano told his team that Sunday's game is "our last rodeo together."

I don't think he means just for the 2017 season.

We can read into this a few different ways. But it’s pretty obvious what Pagano meant here. The Colts’ head coach since 2012, Pagano has posted a 52-43. But it’s the team’s struggles without the injured Andrew Luck that is likely to cut short his tenure in Indy.

It’s also been somewhat of a long time coming here. Multiple insiders around the NFL viewed Pagano as a candidate to be fired after the Colts finished each of the past two seasons at .500. But owner Jim Irsay has remained loyal, probably to a fault here.

Winning three games in a season will place that loyalty into question. And it appears that this is exactly what’s happened. Look for Pagano to be fired on Black Monday following the team’s Week 17 outing against Houston.

This might be why Arians hasn't just retired. Might have his eye on this job.

Pagano should have been gone a long time ago. He won't find another head coaching job in the nfl

If they resign kirk cousins and fire gruden it will be a bad move. But typical of the skins. He hasn't proven shit without gruden and sean mcvay. Let them both walk or bring them both back.

Chris thompson was the key to them this year. I watched hom in college but he always broke bones. Broke his back vs wake forest. Came back the next season and had 300 total offense on like 11 touches the next time he played Wake. Everytime he touched it he went the distance it seemed. He's a game changer/game breaker. Once he went down they stopped lighting up the scoreboard for the Redskins. Week 11 at saints in that game he got hurt. They havent scored over 27 since. I've been playing either unders or fading skins ever since. Skins + over has been a losing combo the last month or so because of that.

I want to see him in Tampa. He would light it up there. School Jameis.

The problem with Cleveland is no one wants to coach there. What I'm saying is he will have no trouble finding another coach but no decent coach will go there. They will go after all the other openings first. Even putting a staff together is difficult because they fire so many staffs. You want to go to a place where your probably gone after two years.
