Thoughts on this latest season?

Yeah man, been a shill for the show since season 1, but I have been getting frustrated ever since the Glenn fake out dumpster death.

Season 8A was bittersweet, but the ending flat out has me disgusted. 1st 2-3 episodes were on point, but then they start lagging with BS episodes and moronic head shots during the opening... JFC how many more times are they gonna do that cheesy shit?

How Negan and Saviours escaped the Sanctuary?? What happened with all the snipers waiting for them to get out? How were they able to re group and attack in 3 separate platoons? lots of shit makes no sense


And then they kill Carl, killing Carl is basically killing Rick... Carl is Rick's reason to fight... show is broken, showrunner is a moron... ill keep watching cause im too invested, but at this point I wouldnt recommend the show to someone new without the disclaimer (it goes downsouth around season 6).

Reminds me of Dexter, 4 superb seasons, and 4 shitty ones with a clusterfuck ending...

I just hope they end the show with some dignity soon... let it rest for a decade, and relaunch at another network like HBO....

I'm still hoping Carl isn't dead. Why kill him off in such a lame way? An off camera bite doing something pointless?

I wouldnt say Carl is Ricks reason to fight tho. He has Judith and Michone. Plus he sees the whole group as family.


If he's really dead, he deserved way better than that.

The "who did negan kill" cliffhanger was the beginning of the end for me. That was total bullshit. No excuse for it.

They fired the kid after lying to him, told him they needed him for 3 more seasons, kid bought a house in Georgia, kid asks for a raise (as he should be being 3rd main character) and gets the axe... AMC cutting expenses plain and simple


And asshole showrunner is saying Carl became the moral compass of the group and he is sacrificing himself in a way to ease Rick a little bit...

DUDE... last time we saw Carl he was Jesse James shooting 1st and saving the day during the Alexandria attack in which Sasha died...

Before that, Carl was hopping in on a savior truck, and gunned down some fukks on a suicide mission to kill Negan...

WHAT FUCKIN MORAL COMPASS? Zero logic on the character development.

Should have shown Negan killing Abraham and leaving the Glen death for cliffhanger... would have been less fukked up, but yeah I hated it

And deaths got spoiled anyway, so anyone knew the 2 to die before the episode

I have sad news for ya JC.... Judith is 100%s Shane's daughter not Rick's (yeah I know he raised her yada yada but no blood bond)... In the comics and in the show Rick's link to the old world is Carl, he is the one that basically kept him alive fighting even after Lori and Judith died (Lori and Judith are killed by the governor in the comics).

Ive read Andrew Lincoln is pissed at the decision and is mind boggled on how to portray Rick from now on, as to not portrait him as a 100% broken down man... dude... have you read the comics?

We are gonna miss TONS of AMAZING plotlines that involved Carl in the next arc... the whisperers... in the comics Carl is even upgraded to main character while Rick takes more of a back seat (he lost one hand in the comic and body is all banged up after the brawls with Negan).

Listen, they killed Andrea, which I hated but untimately worked well switching/blending her plot with Michonne's (Andrea sucked on the show and the actress was just ugh, didnt help she fukked Shane and the Governor too!) but killing Carl is a sin for me... an unforgettable sin.
