Who is the interim coach?
More important who is the OC or who is calling the plays today?
And what do you think of the QB, how big a drop off is he?

I know he was thrown into the fire against ole miss but he couldn’t throw a lick. Only way they stay in this game is to be able to run the ball and play keep away from Louisville.

Greg Knox is Coaching the game. Team is Ready.....keep in mind they live off physical Defense and Running the ball. Frosh gets better every day he practices and had the support of Fitzgerald and team. But make no bones about it. The game plan will revolve around Time of Possession. If Miss St can keep it close they will grind the game just like they did against Alabama where a no huddle team huddled every down. But if they get behind they can run no huddle with their eyes closed. Should be an interesting 1st half chess match.

Also, keep in mind that Louisville got embarrassed last year against LSU. They may be out to prove something this year. Not sure Mississippi St has the team speed on defense to contain Jackson.

strangely the teams that have their best players sitting out because of upcoming draft (Texas, NC State) have been easy covers. Today Louisville's best pass rusher and best cornerback are skipping the bowl game. When Alexander's been in lineup he locks down one side of the field...his last 3 games allowed 4 catches for 20 yards.

Excellent, thank you!

I am attracted to the physical SEC dog, the only thing left I need to know is who is calling the plays on offense? Is it the same person as the regular season or is it a new guy... it was a disaster for SMU, MU, and AZ St to change the play caller for a bowl game.

no, different guy calling plays...the qb coach will do it today and safeties coach will call the defense. so both coordinators are new to this

So an already bad defense should be even worse? Lol. To bad Miss St don’t have a qb to take advantage of this. Really tough game to figure out.

Well that is not good, look at ASU yesterday, both coordinators were new. And, again, SMU and MU had new people calling the "O".

seen it the other way too

Pitt destroyed Kentucky a few years ago as big dog in BBVA Compass. Wanny resigned, Phil Bennett was interim, new coaches everywhere and Pitt played their ass off for Bennett knowing it was his one shot to be a HC over these players who loved him.

Don't know how well liked Knox (today's HC) is at MSU but always the possibility they play really hard for him today as he's going to florida (likely) after this game

Went with Miss St + 7, medium play, same OC matters a lot, 2 defensive starters out for Louisville, Miss St QB is highly touted and they should be able to run.
Thanks to all for the feedback...
