I agree. Oklahoma is a little more of a finesse team. Everyone views Oklahoma as a high powered offense throwing it all over. Georgia is gonna cram the ball down their throats...be more physical and make enough passing plays

Good luck. I know UGA is the more balanced team with a great running game with an elite defense which usually ends up winning.
But this is the one game I can't figure out. IF OU offensive line can protect Mayfield long enough for the receivers to run their
routes I think there is a good chance OU can put up enough points to win. IF they can't protect the QB, UGA will rout OU by 3 TD's.

Guy I never heard of says it is his GAME OF THE YEAR. He needs to explain, "why?". For all we know, he is using Pointwise or The Gold Sheet. Just lobs out a GOY with no rationale. So let's talk about it.

Everybody knows the GA defense is good... but have they faced a pro caliber passer like Mayfield, or, anybody even half as good? Nope. So name a good passing QB GA has faced... for one, Lock from Missouri put up 28 pts on them, and maybe Auburn's Stidham, they put up 40 on GA first game on natural turf, by the way, before collapsing 2nd game. Will GA be able to get to Mayfield on the thick natural grass vs a damn good OK OL? Tell me.

And everybody says OK D is not so hot, but maybe to beat them you need a top passing QB, which Fromm is not. OK has some athletes on D, will GA be able to run it down their throat like everybody keeps saying? OK D suffers from the outstanding quick offense, they are on the field too much. Like SD Chargers, Air Coryell. Think.

Any argument after the post is just an afterthought if in reality they already placed their wager.

Mayfield has been battling flu like symptoms all week too and admitted he’s not 100% for what it’s worth

Not sayin OHIO STATE was a top 4 team, after Iowa loss. But the way boomer sooner came into the shoe, and blew out dem bucks, shows a team that may be ready for a national championship game and a beat up, or win, by the lil red wagon

That is the national narrative, like it is from Big Brother, 24/7.

OK has good athletes, not easy to run on without a top passing game. OK "D" is underrated since the OK offense scores so quickly. GA has not seen ANYTHING like Mayfield all year... SEC offenses are not passing oriented at all, Missouri put 28 on GA with Lock, the best passer in the SEC, Missouri could not stop GA or they would have scored more.

Just providing another point of view, everyone is inundated with the same narrative.
Frankly I am concerned about Mayfield and all the crap going on last few days, if he is a tad off, game over. GA is solid for sure, but they honestly will be in another world today, hard to say about this game... one thing, IMO it will be a blowout, one way or another, the OK philosophy could dominate like it did vs Ohio State. OR GA can snuff them out, especially if Mayfield is "off" with everything going on and the long layoff...

The Saban clone will have the Ga D ready. This qb can throw and will. All falls on the blitz package and stopping May, actually the hardest of all to handicap Ga hasn’t been in this limelight in forever and may have the “butterflies”
