I believe that there is a partial ownership interest being discussed for a new franchise, new stadium in Vegas..An offer he can't refuse!

I like Chucky, he has the right passion for the game, & should be able to bring Oak back.

He's a great analyst IMO also, so will muss him on MNF.

Great announcer, I liked how he got on the refs calls, didn't Oakland can him the first time?

Took Tampas first and second draft pick in like 02 and a 2nd round in 03.........crazy! Obviously Raaaaaiders did nothing with them as usual. He sees ESPN with new president coming in and it is a smart time to go; ESPN will be changing BIG TIME.

One of the worst moves, in a series of bad decisions, Oakland has ever made was trading him away. Al Davis made a ridiculous request that he never imagined TB would agree to. The Glasers said lets do it and that was that.

Al never liked the fact Gruden drew attention away from him, and the relationship soured a bit. Gruden was all set to be the Notre Dame head coach after the O'Leary fiasco, but ND insisted he take the job immediately during the NFL season. Gruden declined and ND went in another direction.

Been a fan of this team since 1970, they need to clean house and it looks like Gruden will have full power to do whatever he wants.

That coaching itch and the Raider's offer just seems to much for him to pass up. That guy is a players coach, a leader, a workaholic, and a proven winner. Whatever he does I feel like he will find success, especially if its coaching.

Hell, I'll skip the 100 million, just give me that gal's ass in your avatar, LOL. I think it's a good move. ESPN has now become Disney's fledgling and there are deep concerns going forward for the franchise. As I stated in another thread, not sure what his compensation package looked like, but it certainly had no chance of improving in the near future, or maybe even further out. ESPN is simply not the bread winner for Disney they once were so Chucky is a pretty sharp dude, I think he sees the handwriting on the wall.
