Soon to be (9); This is a remarkable accomplishment when you consider how competitive college football is today. It will be interesting to see if this pace (near 50%) will continue when an (8) team play-off format is introduced.

Mack sir, if I may tighten up your subject title.

Alabama is going for their (5TH) national championship in the last nine seasons.

Clover; You have indeed tightened-up (and filtered) a statistic that states the real facts as to where college football has been going (and is still is....see you next Monday night) during the past decade plus. This should be a great game for all college football fans to enjoy.

Could all this change during the next 10 years ? The SEC is still "King on top of the hill" until some other conference (consistently) de-thrones them on the gridiron.

Happy New Year and...............Good Luck.
