I am wondering if anyone knows anything about the Venetian, as far as how it is for gambling, and the Blackjack tables, are there any double decks or are they all shoes like most other strip casinos. Are the tables mostly 25$ or is there 15$ ones, and how is the sportsbook which i know is CG,but i have not been in there in many years,so do they give drink tickets out,or do they have girls come around taking orders and we have to pay for them, anything else would be nice to know

This all is about the mailer i received today giving me 3 comp nights and 100$ for slots or a match play for tables,so i'm really thinking about this offer, but if i take it i have to cancel my other reservation at another hotel, and i want to make sure about doing this.

Its been so long that i have been there that i have a red players card and now they don't even have a red card, and the mailer says its for people who sign up for the Grazie card,so i'm not sure that applies to me as joining a new club,or is it still considered that i already have an account.

Been a couple of years since Ive stayed there. But I doubt it's changed much. Last time I stayed, it was on that same offer that you received.

Any blackjack table $25 or less is going to be out of a shoe or out one of those continuous shufflers. Will be tough to find something less than $25 during the evening or weekends. But $15 should be available during the daytime during the weekdays.

Sportsbook sucks with the drinks. Being CG, I'm not sure they even do drink tickets. If they do, they are very stringent with them. And they certainly won't give you free drinks in the book without a ticket. We sat at the bar that overlooks the book and played video poker and got our free drinks that way. Hope this helps..

avoid its all 6-5 blackjack

It's tough finding a table on the Strip under $25 thats not. I don't play very much blackjack as it is, but never on the Strip because of that bullshit.

Stations or Boyd for me if I'm going to play.

You really can't go wrong with the Venetian .. it's all suites.
not a huge suite, but larger than a normal room

I would say that you won't find many tables under $25 unless it's during the week.
This is like any other Strip Casino/Hotel

The Sportsbook is ok, don't know much about Drinks. I've only used them for their App as I have an account there.
and the Grazie card is just another players card that you use at the Tables/slots or sportsbook, but also if you do stay there, anything you charge to your room
remember to use your Grazie card as well, as for every dollar you spend, you get points for.

Unsure about the gambling, but I know girls love going there. I heard they are very stingy with comps, so your offer looks nice.
I have mixed emotions about this place, I really do enjoy the look and vibe but the casino screwed over so many small construction companies during its build. Refusing to pay and hiring another company to take over. The little guys didn't stand a chance at fighting them in court. Many were never paid and lost everything, they went broke, lost their business, put a lot of people out of work and even families out of a home.

Yea that was a question i had,as on their site they say they had double deck tables that pay 3-2,and i know from every strip casino i went to before was always shoes and 6-5 on blackjack,so i have not been on the strip in many years so i don't know how it changed, actually i take back about the strip as my sister in law and i went to see the Beatles Love show at the mirage last year

Orleans is where i always stay part of my trips and its like home to me,but i don't watch games there

I was not worried about the 25$ tables, but they said they have double decks which i never really seen that on the strip,..the suites look pretty big and nice, which put me in awe,....and the sportsbook i did figure was just like the Silverton who has CG and they don't give drinks out,..and i know about the Grazie card and like i said i have a red one which don't exist,so don't know if that makes me a new club member or not

Good restaurants

yea i assume they do

They will give you drink coupons at the sports book if your wagers are sizable enough (probably $300+ but not sure). The cocktail girls don't come around that often but you can just go to the bar and give them to the bartender. If you got there on a Friday, there's a chance you can reserve a seat in the sportsbook if you have an account with them. We used to deposit $500 in my account and my wife's and two spots were reserved for us for the Sunday games. When we were there in Dec, the manager said they expect deposits of thousands now, but he had mercy on my wife (guess she did the pouty lips thing...and it was also very slow as it was the week before Christmas).

Can't help in the blackjack. I'm a craps player.

The suites are gorgeous, but I prefer the Palazzo. They have a little construction going on right now, but it's much easier to park there and the casino is more spacious.

Betting that much for a measly drink ticket just isn''t worth it,but i get 2 seats reserved at the Silverton sportsbook all the time and i don't need to deposit anything as i did though the first time opening my account. As far as my drinks here,i just fill my fridge up with drinks and when i need a couple i just go to the room and get more, as my room is on the casino level floor so its easy to get there and back in minutes, and they treat me very well there and i like their blackjack as their rules are very liberal as far as splitting different types of ways,so that is a plus,...anyway i appreciate the help,so thanks for your time

CG was not very friendly with the comps. I laid a couple huge bets there beginning of two football seasons ago and got nothing out of it. I like staying at the Venetian because of the tables, food, and rooms, but not favorite sports book. However I really do like the little bit of gaming they have the back of the sports book. Makes for watching a few games and playing some tables/craps at the same time easy. It seems to always be open and not packed like others.
