Not really...at least according to modern quantum theorists. They maintain that while time travel is possible...if you can find a stable black hole and build a huge atom smasher...that it would not be possible to go back further in time than when the time machine was constructed. And since no time machine was built by 2017..slackers that we are... you won't be seeing any tourists from the future for a few decades.
