Mercedes C class vs. BMW 3 series

It's time to trade in my BMW 3 series.

I'm either going to get a newer 3 series, or a Mercedes C class.

My son likes the way BMW's drive better. I like the looks of the Mercedes better, and like the Mercedes interior better.

I do kind of like the way the BMW drives better, at least for commuting. I think for long distance driving (which I don't do much)
the Mercedes might be more comfortable.

I'm looking at 2013-2014's... I like the greys... I've been driving BMW's for 25 years, part of me would like to try something else...

For me, Benz all the way.....I've driven BMW's just to test drive, never owned one & never liked them......a friend let me drive his M3 for the day at college back in the day, that was fun & cool, but I still like the Benz way better.....much smoother ride.

Not a car guy. Just need something to get me from A to B. Would rather spend the money on Travel.

I used to like the look of BMW's better, but now I like the look of Benz better. Beamers are looking more and more like Lexus's. Mercedes still have that German look. From looks alone I'd even go Audi over a BMW now.

i like the benze here as i have a 550 sl and a sedan s63 , the bmw 3 series is not very good imo if you are buying a bmw at least get the 5 series, the 3 sucks

I have driven a Mercedes C-300 for the past 10 years (not the same one). They are a very nice machine. You will like the technology, too.

Mazda 6 sport. Nicer than both, and probably 10k cheaper and a much better ride

I have had both over the last 5 years and as far as driving and handling the BMW hands down, as far as technology and seat comfort Mercedes

but if you going with the bmw, stay away from the 3 series, the ride on the 5 series is hands down so much better and the 3 series is just too damn little

Glad someone agrees. Just got one, awesome car. Benz/BMW over rated. BMW, 700 series only way to go,but expensive.

Bought my girl a CX-5. Solid car with the same luxury styling and even better overall features as the highly overpriced lux brands at half the price. If they had a little bit more engine under the hood,they’d be hard to beat there too,but the handling is on point with the other hype machines as well...

the s 63 is out of the world, i had it 2 yrs now and it the best car i have ever own.so many of these young kids in the new mustangs try to race me on the main highways, im getting ready to trade it in now on a 2018 s model

Agree, the 2.5 is a bit small, bit it will still move. The room is comparable to a 700 series, and the Mazda 6 has a better look IMO
