... who has to play Jacksonville when they get just a decent NFL quarterback. If they have the cap space bet Coughlin goes after Eli or Cousins ... after they lose to Pittsburgh. Passing for 84 yards vs. the Steelers won't cut it.

Based on their playcalling I think cousins works great. Hate to see it but he really has shown some ability to throw it around to everyone and still has plenty of years to play

Cousins or A Smith would be a huge upgrade.

They can't waste this window of opportunity, they close fast in this league.

Smith or Cousins are the ones...if Jax can get a lead and unleash their pass D they will be scary. I think the oddsmakers opening Pit only -6.5 tells you something of the respect they show for the Defenese, if Jax got a defensive score (or turnover for a score via great field position) plus a couple of freakish chunk plays on offense then 17 points could make it interesting next week.

they have already beat Pitt at home once this year with what they've got now.....30 to 9.... they were only getting 7.5 then........this spread is just about right

Harrison was released to file the spot on the roster for All pro OL Gilbert. Pitt scored 34 on a good defense with
all the linemen in. Pitt struggled against GB, Balt, NE, and Cincinnati without him.
Also With the return of All Pro corner back Joe Haden, this team will be a defense to recon with in these playoffs.
He can cover any NFL receiver period!!!! Freeing up safety's
and LB's to play zone D. Two Monster healthy additions.

Pitt scores 24 minimum and wins by double digits as Bortles throws 2 picks. He sucks if you watched him the last 3 weeks

Being a fellow Vandy alum and player, that isn't funny, LOL. I'd go after Cousins, Smith is the reason the Chiefs lost this weekend, he's the reason they've lost every playoff game in the Reid era. Question is, is there a statute of limitations on the franchise tag?

Had them in a teaser and I don't believe I've ever witnessed a more inept QB in my life. Steelers will murder him this weekend. I know this because Chuck Noll told me so in my dreams last night, lol.

wind and rain (if it happens) would make this closer than everyone expects IMO yes Borltes sucks but Jax are at their best against teams that want to utilise the passing game, Jax would need to create multiple turnovers like last time they beat Pit to have any chance

I think Cousins will want to much money...long term. Smith would be a better fit because of his wheels. IMHO.
