I think I are one. I pretty much had to be. I raised 2 boys on my own. Now that they are older, they want me to slow down. Wtf am I supposed to do? I can't exactly go cold turkey. If I don't work like 70 hours a
week, I feel guilty af. I'm sure not bragging or anything. I probably should slow with this but I'm not sure how..any insight/thoughts....serious replies only please...yeah right lol

I work hard to play hard.

Or maybe "I don't live to work I work to live" is a better cliche in this case.

Take time off and enjoy yourself. Life is short, sharing experiences with family and friends should be at the top if what everybody does

I dont like working but feel like I "owe" them because they provide a roof over my head, car, food and all that. Makes me put work near the top of my priority list. Its probably some form of mental illness.

Not sure if I was or wasn't according to definition; but always felt like I was running on empty or could never get caught up..... There needs to be a balance in life, easier said than done.

Wouldn't call myself a workaholic but I am old fashioned and not a typical millennial in that I believe strongly in the importance of work ethic.

I have great respect for people who work hard to provide a good life for their family because that's what I do every single day

And ZERO respect for people who think they are entitled to a good life without putting in the work

find a hobby...better yet think of the one thing you would like to be doing if money wasn't an issue and start doing it on your time off, maybe it could turn out as a second source of income for you. For me, it would be basketball related, but not easy to live off of basketball down here, but soon enough I wll be able to start coaching as a part time job

The best part is making my own schedule. Plenty of times i'm working later nights and crazy weekends. However i am able to work around my kids' games and family obligations so cant complain. It actually bothers me that i'm missing my son's practice tonite

I know a police officer who works 90+ hours a week. He does off duty work whenever he's off the clock. Makes way more doing that then he does as a cop. Guy gets probably 2 hours sleep a night and has a new baby.

But he's on track to retire at 45

No surprise there. Most cops aren’t that smart. Sleeping is almost as important as eating. If youre not getting proper rest your body cannot fully detoxify.
