I didn't see a thread on this yet but Cam was definitely concussed. They didn't have a lot of TV coverage after the fact but Cam and the trainers did all they could to make it not look like a concussion. When he first went down (after starting to walk to the sideline), he grabbed a leg or knee like it was a cramp. Then when giving the eye test, they made it look like he had something in it or a contact was bothering him. Ill try and find a clip of the live feed after it happened.

they definitely didnt follow the protocol as it has been reported. he does wear a shield on his helmet, which lends me to think he wasn't poked in the eye. will be interesting to see what the league does but not following the protocol is gonna cost carolina. they may argue based on the way he played afterwards that he wasnt concussed but i thought when he went down he had his bell rung

His eye reaction actually leads me to believe the excuse given. I believe he went down hoping for official time stoppage. Just my thought, but would be really hard either way to tell me he wasn't concussed after that.

Maybe, But Carolina did not follow concussion protocol after a legit hit where a player went down, in what appears, to be a concussion.
