Should look more into that Saints D
everyone was on their nuts by Week 7, but look at who they played at QB: still recuperating from shoulder surgery Cam Newton, Jay Cutler in London, Stafford (scored 38), Brett Hundley in his first start, Mitchell Trubisky in his first or 2nd road game, then Winston who got hurt and replaced and Tyrod who was pulled for Nate INT Peterman. YIKES

Then look at their rest of season. They've lost 5 starters since Week 12 for the year.
Their run D is atrocious. They rank last in the NFL in run success rate allowed when the score is within 7 points. Aka they can't stop teams when trying to get the ball back to mount a comeback or put a game away.

Nailed it.
Brees is a Super Bowl QB but their OL is banged up, and I do not think the NO defense is so hot, they struggled and could not stop Cam and the mediocre Panther offense.
Tough game, laying 5 to Brees, or going against a top D and decent O with Minny.

Minnesota is the better team if Keenum is truly for real and it just hasn't been a one year regular season wonder. If he plays like he has in playoffs kike he has in the regular season the Viking should win and cover. But, that's the question. Vikings may be the best overall team in the NFL if Keenum is for real

I took it too. I like both teams a lot, but I will take the points, the better QB, better running game, arguably better WRs/coaching.

Minn has home field and defense, not a bad advantage. But 5 is too many

Agree about the Vikings are better with Case, vs Bradford. And the Vikings have a really good defense... But I was thinking Drew will be playing in a dome, and the saints hopefully can run the ball Sunday. We'll see.

Minny is #2 stopping the run, #5 per attempt. IMO the whole game will depend on that...
Brees + 5 is so tempting, but the issue to me is the missing starters on D for NO, they were tough on D for awhile but are thinned out, Carolina got to them fairly well.

this, as a saints fan, is what I view as our biggest issue
