Expect some craziness in Foxboro, some gadget plays and a very physical game.

COLD WEATHER GAME (25 degrees) favors physical, good running team but more importantly the team that can stop the run, athletic QB preferred over a one dimensional pocket passer since finger and hand catches downfield are much more difficult, Brady is the best but receiving in 25 degree weather is difficult and will be problematic

Both teams weak SOS

Titans have two physical lines, DL can get sacks and much maligned young DBs have developed, improved

Titans # 4 vs run (per attempt), NE is # 31 (wild card superior team @ stopping the run went 3-0 Tenn, Atl, Carolina... Jax/Buffalo no advantage)

Titans Henry is a top 3 RB in the NFL, power for 3 yd gains, speed to break out for several 15-20 yard gains

Titans Mariotta can roll out, hit short passes and also run for 1st downs, Brady is immobile

Titans will keep the ball from Brady, run for 150 yds; NFL dogs getting 7pts that run for 150 yds in the NFL tend to cover

COLD WEATHER GAME

Take the 13 1/2

I agree Henry is good, but top 3? He's shown the ability to break a big run, but he only averaged 4.1 ypc & doesn't catch passes. Top 10 maybe, but definitely not top 3 yet. Off the top of my head, Bell, Johnson, Elliott, Gurley, McCoy, Kamara, Hunt & possibly Freeman are better, or at least more well-rounded at the moment. As far as the cold weather's impact goes--I'd say it's negligible. I think the Pats are 17-3 (9 wins by at least 13) at home in the playoffs under Brady & they're surely to be much more familiar with inclement weather than the Titans. Cold weather can also make it more difficult to grip the ball for running backs. It wouldn't appear cold has had much impact on Brady or his receivers lately, as they've scored 34+ in 6 of their last 7 home playoff games. The exception was against KC in 2015 when they scored 27. Personally, I despise the Patriots, but not sure the Titans defense is capable of staying with this team, no matter how well they run the ball tomorrow. The only teams to beat Brady at home in the playoffs have been great to very good defenses in the form of the Ravens in 2012 & 2009 & the Jets in 2010. Of course, that doesn't mean they can't cover 13.5, but if they get down more than one score, it could be an avalanche. I'd rather take a prop bet on Henry's rush yards than the 13.5. You have to figure to stay competitive he has to go for at least 80-90 minimum. Last week, Henry was at 66.5, so you have to figure that sneaks up into the low 70's this week against the Pats.

Henry is the top RB in the NFL the last 3 weeks at first down run success. That in itself will help Tenn stay on schedule on their drives.

Patriots are 26th in the NFL on first down run success, even though they had the 3rd easiest schedule of rushing offenses

In my opinion, I think tenn will have some success moving the ball... but stall when they get around the 20/25... and settle from FG's instead of TD's...and that decides the game... as far as covering, I can't lay 14 but i have Pats in a few teasers (-7 (7 point) and -4 (10 point) as i think the backdoor may be open for a 10 point Pats win...good luck all....

Cold affects the passing game 20 times more than the running game. Brady is great but this line is overinflated because of past success and the cold will cause some significant problems for the receivers. Tennessee did ok in similar weather last week. Remember?
Henrys stats are understated since they use two top backs, IMO if he’s the primary back they are far better off though he needs some breaks and of course it’d be better if Murray was there for that.

you could decipher that. ATL laying points, Saints with the points.

Go poll your buddies and you'll almost certainly see they all love ATL and Saints.

Actually most like Philly, just like on this forum & across the road in another forum, I guess they feel a #1 seed getting points is worth a play......everyone I talked to like the Saints tho.

Only concern here is Titans pass defense. Smith and Kelce ate them up before Kelce left the game. What is Brady gonna do? Titans will need to score 20 or more to cover IMO. I think they will. But still concerns me
