Ok, so if I were to read this correctly....
24% of the people were neutral
Of the 76% that had an opinion, 21% felt like the news supported the party in charge, 55% said they did not.
Pew is saying they did a good job. I'm assuming they're saying that you should be neutral and not support any party and therefore you would want a high number on the latter?
I read it as PEW is saying our media has a 34% net negative converge of our government. Which is two things
1) By far the biggest negatives found in media coverage
2) The most one sided coverage in either direction. Israel is the only other nation with a significant negative coverage at -26% and Sweden has the most positive spin at 24%

I guess it depends on the interpretation, but I definitely think Pew is giving a thumbs up to the media coverage (even says so above it). I don't agree but that's what it looks like to me.
Fake news.
Trump is really not an idiot.
Leave Jimmy Carter outta this.I can deal with him saying stupid stuff as long as he stays the course in the policy arena.
Much better than having an eloquent president that gets everything wrong on policy
When it comes to the economy, I like mine growing. When it comes to the border, I like mine more secure. When it comes to wages, I like mine increasing. When it comes to enemies, I like mine defeated. And when it comes to politics, I like bluntly honest and effective as opposed to nuanced and politically correct and and intellectually dishonest and destructive.
Stay thirsty my friend
I read the article again, couldn't find what you were referring to. So I went to the actual release by Pew, they said people clearly believe the political news is biased and that people think that's wrong. They did say the news does a better job of reporting on other topics, just not in the political arena.
Actually Willie, from the graph you posted in the original post..."News organizations in our country are doing well at reporting different positons on political issues fairly". Like I said, I don't agree with it, but they do seem to be giving a thumbs up to the media.
BFL my friend, that's the issue of the poll, not the conclusion
Go to the link I provided and then go to the Pew release link found in my link
late night?
