Never buy a hook on 2.5. The extra inflated juice will lose you more money in the long run. Same for 3.5 lines, don't buy it down to 3

Based on the success I've had I'll stick with the 1/2 point

I personally have never bought a hook in my gambling life.

Not knocking anyone for doing it.

No offense but I find that hard to believe. There is no way buying the 1/2 point would have you in plus money in football. If you won buying the hook then you would have also won at 2.5. You would have lost more times buying the hook than having it come into play and pushing. Don't count the wins that would have covered at +2.5. Look at your losses when buying compared to your pushes. No way you would be ahead. Impossible. Keep in mind I'm talking football only.
