and how many do they keep? I doubt all three

You know at least one is gone, and you know all three will be given a chance to start somewhere

I actually think they only retain one and go out to find another backup (although I don't know the contract situations)

bradford has to go. there is no reason to keep. depends on if they win it all with keenum. id say if you can keep keenum and bridgewater then thats ideal. i think the plan all along was to go with bridgewater, i suspect thats what they will do. we are looking at a reality of the starting quarterbacks of the nfc championship being foles vs keenum....amazing. could see the final 3 being brady, keenum, foles, and bortles..........

that really would be a shocking final four when you think about it

They will probably keep Keenum and Bridgewater, is a guess. I don't know, I mean all 3 off these QBS go to market, they could possibly start. Would anyone of them sign to be a backup?

If they are smart, Keenum. He is the real deal.
Bradford is better than people think but they cannot pay him and invest their team in him, he is older and injury prone, he got battered for years behind the terrible Rams OL.
Bridgewater is damn good but also an injury risk, never was established as a top QB, whereas Keenum has played well for an entire season and is top rated. He broke NCAA records for yards, TDs, etc, never has been give the respect he deserves. Also, got hammered behind the lousy Ram OL, coincidentally.
Keenum.

Keenum and Bridgewater if possible. Bradford makes no sense. BTW, Keenum has had an exceptional season and I think the Vikes go to Super bowl.

Don't be surprised if it is Cousins. I could see them getting rid of all of them. Zimmer knows he has 4-5 year window to be special and all he needs is the QB to be good. Keenum has been special this year, but it is difficult to want to throw 10-15 million a year at him. You let Anthony Barr walk, Robison retires and take Bradford's deal and that equates to a big contract for Cousins. Cousins doesn't want to go somewhere and be 8-8..that is what he has been doing for the past 3-4 years. He is looking for a place like Jacksonville, Pittsburgh(if big ben retired), or Minnesota.

keenum starts
teddy backs up

it would be a shame to keep Teddy on the bench for any longer than he has to but Case has proven he's their starter and I'm not sure the Vikings really want to trade Teddy.......or I'm not sure many teams would offer much for Teddy to start for them based on his injury

it's a good but tough situation for the Vikings to be in.

Wait... Keenum is a free agent, correct?
A lot of teams would want him, AZ, Jax, Skins, Denver, Cleveland (he'd be crazy), Giants (if Eli leaves), Indy (if Luck finally craps out)... so maybe we should think Bridgewater will be the man next year.

Keenum if they win the SB for sure. If they lose this game Bridgewater for sure unless he wants to leave. I believe both their contracts are up. Don't see them signing both. Both are gonna wanna be starters. Bradford has no chance to be the starter.

Bradford will be a starter next season...Broncos,Jets,Cardinals take your pick.

Keenum is a 1 hit wonder.

Teddy Bridgewater will be the QB of this team for years to come.

Do I think Keenum is better than Cousins...don't really care. I think Keenum is going to go with our Shurmur when he gets a new coaching gig. Bradford won't be back. Always think Bridgewater is a nice qb, but when a Cousins is out there you make an attempt. Alex Smith might be in the mix for them also. Watch for Tyrod Taylor also. These great defensive teams want a QB that doesn't turn the ball over. Taylor I believe had one of the lowest pass/interception ratio.

What is a reasonable contract for Teddy given his injury history. The deal must protect the team from this (insurance or triggers). But it is hard to guage his value since we don't know what he looks like in live NFL action yet.

He could be done or could be a solid young (undervalued) starter. But I think Minny will offer him a job. For PR reasons alone cutting ties would be cold. Especially if he doesn't get a lot of looks in free agency (though I suspect he would).

The top 4 free agent QB are Cousins, Keenum, Bradford and Bridgewater.

Personally I think Bradford is the best when healthy. That is the big if. Keenum has the all time record for passing in college....so he can throw the ball. He is not real big and his arm strength is not super strong. He is in a good spot in Minnesota because he is not asked to do too much. Great defense and a good set of receivers. As far as Teddy goes I am surprised he has come back from the injury. Word on the streets was he was done. Teddy had really not proved himself totally before the injury.

Keenum will be the starter next year (would probably get a big offer from Arizona if Shurmur goes but I think would be a mistake). My guess is Teddy is the backup. Unfortunately I think Bradford goes somewhere else.

Ill give my thoughts after today's games but I think the playoffs have a lot to do with it. It will also depend on $$$.. keenums agent could price himself out. For me Keenum is having a good year but he makes many errors that dont get noticed as much but he misses wide open receivers too much.. Go to the game and you will see his size really is a factor to his vision. He is great at pocket awareness and keeping plays alive. Bradford be gone if he doesnt come back dirt cheap and the organization loves Teddy
