Sophomore Jason Eason who started as a true freshman last year and the
opening game this season (injured) reportedly is transferring to Washington.
He would have to sit out the 2018 season and have two years of eligibility
    left.

Even though Eason is a good prospect (5 star recruit), I don't believe Georgia
would have made it to the NC game with him starting. The young freshman
came in and played like a seasoned veteran and provided good leadership.

Good pick up for Washington if this is true.

Georgia also picked up the number 1 high school recruit in the nation for next season. Great pickup for Washington if he goes there

That is the conundrum for many good college football players today (Jason Eason) , who was highly recruited in H.S. and then commits and plays as a true-freshman for Georgia , then, out of nowhere, along comes another freshman quarter (i. e. Jake Fromm) and Eason is left out in the "cold", so, he transfers to where he thinks he will play (can't blame him). As the talent pool continues to increase we will see more transfers like this in the future.

He got outplayed by a Freshman. He is a great talent, but struggles with touch on the short passes. I hope nothing but the best for him. He showed some class this year. He probably also saw the writing on the wall.

He definitely has a higher ceiling as far as a pro qb

Eason needs playing time and he wouldn't get [it] at Georgia with Fromm, now a proven commodity, in the drivers seat ......He's still young with room to improve and there should be many option available to him. It will be interesting to see where he ends-up.
