the Jaqs;
a team that lost not once but twice to the Titans
a team that gave up 42 to Pitt last week is going to shut down Brady
a team that gave up 44 to Jimmy G and SF in week 16 when they still had something to play for is going to shut down NE's always changing scoring machine?
a team that beat one playoff team during the season, Pittsburgh
a team that lost to the Jets and the Cards and the aforementioned SF
a defense that got to play Indy 2x, Houston 2x sans Watson, the Browns, the Bengals, the Ravens when they sucked

Mike Tomlin will not be on the opposing sideline Sunday

The Patriots are not looking ahead to their next match-up

and Blake Bortles will never be confused for a young Eli Manning

So tell me, what am I missing? besides the fact that anything can happen? how are people "capping" this for a SU Jaqs victory?

Or is it all about hope and hype?

I thought the Jaga and Titans split their two meetings. Every game is different Willie . whats in the past is the past. with that said Jags have Bortles. that's why Jags lose this game

Every Game is Different

Jags beat Steelers twice with Brown on the filed. Pats beat Steelers with Brown going down in 1st half.. we could make these comparisons all day long.. Belichik will probably fuck Bortles up though..

Not saying the jags are Winning this game. But ANYTHING is possible.

But I'm not sure why you guys are just throwing the Jags on the side like a crumb that just landed on your chest

regardless that you think they are Not as good of a team as the Pats, they are Still the #2 Overall Defense in the League .... and #1 in Passing Defense
you can't just brush them off like it's going to be a breeze , a Walkover or even that word that starts with an L

At Any time in the game, the Jags could get to Brady ... and if they Do and for whatever reason he gets Hurt, Then What ??
Don't say it can't happen ... it only takes One Play.

So I just find that part of the debate funny...

This weekend will be very exciting in both Championship games. We have a large underdog in the upstart JAX team facing a dynasty in NE. After watching all of this seasons playoff games I must say that NE should have their hands full on Sunday. Pitt saw firsthand what being over confident can do to a team. NE will certainly be prepared for the game with all of their coaching expertise and experience in the post season but think about it...what does JAX have to lose? Going from a 3 win team last year to a Championship game? Incredible. I wouldn't be surprised if this went to OT in some dramatic fashion and in OT anything is possible.
Now as for Minn and Phila...lets say this...Minn needed a miracle 61 yard bomb to beat NO on the final play of the game. They blew a 17 point lead in the 1st quarter! At home! Phila had an unbelievable goal line stand to close out the win vs ATL. Sine Wentz went down most believed that Foles was not the answer and they counted the team out. Phila D is every bit as good as Minn and this was evident last week. So after all the excitement last weekend this Sunday should be even better.

The Patriots themselves have been on both sides of significant upsets in the post season

I'm baffled by all this hype around Jacksonville.
Listening to the radio yesterday people were hyping the Jags so much. It surprises me because New England is a team that gets a lot of public hype.

I will be surprised if the Jags hang around.

It was same with the Cowboys in the 90's. Same with Duke, UNC in college basketball. People get sick/jealous of seeing the same team win it every year.

The only outlier I can think of is Jordan's Bulls. Seems like everyone loved them
