Mods how hard is it to ghost on a forum and for mods to check ips

i guess what always get me someone with let say under 20 posts come into a thread and act like they have known a poster for yrs......or they know what going on the forums for yrs but they just joined

Easy to check ip addresses per registration or each & every post.

Some ghosts are obvious while others try to hide it via other methods.

thanks Hm i never got why proven posters ghost on a forum, but again that not me so i will never understand mature guys doing it, i guess it different ways to get your kicks

Banned posters do it, so they can keep posting.

Other posters have made such a complete fool out of themselves, they feel they need a new persona (AkPhiDelt)

Some he does and others he doesn't. He really tried to hide RiceEater. His ghost "Block Chain" only lasted one post before being banned. He just started a new ghost today.
