Brady is more valuable. QB is just way too important in the NFL.

The other elite QB's win every single year as well, Peyton Manning, Aaron Rodgers. Pencil them in for division titles and double digit wins and they've played for some idiots as head coaches.

If you put Brady on another team for 15 years, you would feel pretty confident he would make that team a perennial contender for pretty much that entire duration. If you put Belichick on another team, he would be subject to all kinds of variance. He might find a QB in that time period, he might not. He might hit on his draft picks, he might not. He might run good with the health of his players, he might not. There's just a level of sustainability that comes from having a great QB that doesn't come from having a great coach. We've seen this with other teams.

I think Belichick is the best coach of all time and it isn't even close, but the history of sports is littered with great coaches that didn't have the same amount of success without their best horses.

Who is the 2nd best NFL head coach of the last 30 years? Whoever you deem it to be, he's had a lot of success but he's probably had some down years as well.

The top elite QB's pretty much contend every single year when in their primes. Brady, Manning, Rodgers have all led some mediocre teams to double digit wins over the years.

I'd say Brady, by a small margin.

Belichick may have made the plans, but Brady has had to execute.

Any half decent Qb you put into Belichick system does well......so Belichick is more important than Brady, not the other way around.

The history of the NFL is littered with great coaches that have regressed to the mean after they didn't have the superstar talent. Belichick may be a better coach than all of these guys but it's hard to think he wouldn't be immune to the obstacles they've faced. Atleast on some level.

Who was the consensus best coach of the 70's? Chuck Knoll, he was a .500 coach in the 80's.

Who was the consensus best coach of the 80's? Probably Walsh, he couldn't win at Stanford and his time as the 9ers GM nobody is writing books about. And Seifert was able to have a lot of success when he succeeded him.

Who was the up and coming best coach in the early 90's? Jimmy Johnson, Dolphins were OK under him but nowhere near Dallas success. Was fired after losing a playoff game 62-0.

Late 90's? Clearly Shanahan, he didn't have as much success with the Broncos in the 00's without Elway and all the talent those late 90's teams had. Had a losing record with the Redskins as well.

If I'm an owner I'd say gimme the best QB and I'll figure out the rest.

Belicheck. Not down playing Brady's accomplishments but I think he could have been replaced. Really when looking at the traits the embody a Bellichek qb there are other players who meet the skill set and have similar traits. People under estimate the importance of coaching at this level where all players are so highly skilled. He's light years ahead of any other coach in the league

has to be Brady. we will find out when Belichick has to survive life after Brady.

If Belicheck has Peyton Manning, I don't think they win nearly as many super bowls. Something about Brady....he is a gamer

It's Brady. Give me the best QB of all time without argument vs arguably the best coach of all time

You have the without argument and arguably part backwards .

You can ask 5 people who the best QB is of all time and get 4 or 5 different answers .

You can ask 5 people who the best coach is of all time and you will only get 1 answer .

I promise you you ask 1000 football fans who the best qb is of alltime and who the best coach is of alltime there is no doubt you will get more different answers on the best qb question then the coach question and if you think otherwise you are insane

Its the coach. and for me its not even close. I would never have said this a few years ago. But Belichik is the best coach of all time.. I would also add the organization is probably the most dedicated to winning.. Not trying to take anything away from Brady , but he's not the main reason..
