Here is who I am playing this Sunday....
New England -7 (-135)
I really think this will be a 13-17 point win for the Pats...or something like a 31-13 or 34-17 type game...I believe Brady WILL play...and have a great game... Too many weapons on this Pats team, I have read that they (Pats) run the 12 personal packages which is a real advantage for New England. The one formation that can expose Jacksonville, it the 12 and 21 personal packages...Which New England runs more than ANY other team in the NFL... see San Fran game against Jax. as they ran a very high % of those sets....1 or 2 WR sets, with throws to TE, RB or WR , not to mention you CAN run on the Jags up the middle...One stat that many are not discussing: the Patriot defense: In the first 4 games of the season they allowed around 129 points... in the next 12 games, they only allowed around 151 points... total!!
I don't see Jax scoring more than 10-17 total points...I see many mismatches between these two teams, with New England benefiting on almost all of them. Not even mentioning the QB's and coach staffs.
Minnesota (M/L)
I am riding on this Vikings team...!!! yes luck may have played a part to get the W last week, but some teams just find a way to win when they need too... Teams are similar, but I personally like the Minny Defense more then Phili's. I like the E Griffin match up, and believe he will cause big problems for Foles. Foles can't run (like watching paint dry) so pressure on him will be key, I don't think the vikings fall for the RPO that was effective against Atlanta, as I don't think the vikings will allow the slant pass like the falcons did. I think Minnesota will "contain" the Eagles, and will spread the field against them and have success with the run, to make things easier for Keenum (who by the wan CAN run if needed to extend drives). I believe the Vikings are the overall better team in this match up, and will continue onto the Superbowl..
